[This is not a drill. I repeat. This is not a drill. I repeat, stop whatever the hell you were doing and evacuate your homes immediately]. [This is an emergency]. [Different sightings have been reported from all over the country]. [I repeat. This is an emergency] Flying saucers have arisen from Valparaiso, invading our soundcloud, youtube, bandcamp and media. The message? A record of nine songs remembering forever these events: En el cielo a las 20:00. It’s Platillo Volador, my dear terrestrial friends and they are coming to get you. Making Lo Orozco, album EP debut in 2014 and releasing new album in 2016 (“En el cielo a las 20:00”), Platillo Volador is getting their first recognition as one of the bands with projection in the country. But who cares about that? Music so off of this planet that expectations and recognitions simply doesn’t matter. It’s too terrestrial, man. And that’s why we love this kind sighting, in the middle of nowhere, with the darkest night upon you and the bright light of Platillo Volador leaving you blind and unconscious for three days. What happened in between? You’ll never know. Psychedelic ensemble, noisey aggrupation, lysergic tripulation, called them whatever you […]

Let´s talk about Espiral. How with so few they can accomplish so much. Because that’s the kind of catharsis you get to experience when listening to these guys. A progressive feeling of levitation, Espiral becomes the perfect vessel to an intergalactic journey. A journey through the quantum space, navigating the galaxies with no clear destiny. Because the trip of Spiral is just getting started and the cosmonauts are ready to plug their instruments and reach the outer rims of the universe. And fuck terrestrial life, in just a few minutes, Espiral can put you in the right mood to start drifting away in the void. We like what we hear. And little by little, song by song, Espiral absorbs you to its center. Always wanting more, always wanting a journey that weren´t too short. So while we expect more from Espiral, you best keep looking to the starry sky. You may get caught in the zone of Espiral. Espiral are: José Luis Cayul on guitar. Ignacio Larraín on Bass/Sax. Cristián “Joven Billy” Hidalgo on drums. Miguel Rodriguez on keyboards. Facebook / Soundcloud By: Francisco Cifuentes Rivera

Been caught on the ethereal loop of Niñosindigo over and over and over and over and over again has to be a paradise. Meet the personal project of Valeria Hernández, a visual artist from Concepción, and the woman responsible for many video clips and visuals from bands like Davida Loca or Niñosindigo itself, and indie art projects like Taller Monstruo. Her latest album, “Selva” finds the trance in the strings. An interesting approach to acoustic tunes backed by voices coming from the wind. All with the wild concept of “Fruta”, sounds from remote places and remote tunes. In its own abstraction, Niñosindigo stands as an escape door to the harsh streets, bright lights and irritating sounds of the city. A far away place, made by atmospheric folk, experimental samples and lo fi sensations. We have nothing but a high fidelity to one of the most interesting projects of Concepción. MI NOMBRE ES DOLORES!
Music as a reflection of travel, experiences and experiences. Mi nombre es dolores! It is the lonesome project of Matías Hidalgo, bass guitarist of national bands and 608-z and Syndie. Leaving apart his usual instrument of 4 strings, he decides to take his acoustic guitar and start a parallel musical work that allows it to be author, composer and performer at the same time hinting in his lyrics and sound experiences of everyday life through songs like “Yo no me gané un oscar”, “mi mejor peor momento” and “hombre con suerte”. In 2014 he decides to leave Chile to start an international tour, starting on New Zealand, and then continue by Australia and Asia. Places where it can be released and show their material. In August 2015 confirms his participation in the Quest Festival. One of the most important alternative music festivals in Vietnam. Here he shares the stage with several prominent artists such as Ouissam, Jack Swift and Space Panther. In early 2016 he recorded two new songs that give a view of what will be his next album waterlogged to the end of 2016. Earlier this month decided to travel South Vietnam and motorcycle accompanied by his ukulele. […]

She was born in august, and as the month dictates, she is a fanatic of cats. She possesses and is possessed by a pair. Audio engineer and hairdresser from Concepción, land of a lot of music and culture for the austral country, she started in the conservatory at the age of 5 with Cello and Piano, to became the musician that she is and bring us her first EP in 2013. “Felicia” (EP name) it’s an album with four very intense short tracks. Also she has participated in several workshops like ceramics, painting, ballet, cuisine, beauty aesthetic and sign language, that make of Felicia, a very complete person, and as we call it in Chile: “Una artista chasquilla” (search for: Maestro Chasquilla) One year later (in 2014) she found the right scissor cuts to give the precise style to her first Long Play, “Agosto” (August). This record its very brainy, introspective, totally instrumental and with very high standars. She worked in the album with De Janeiros (Pablo Muñoz y Milton Mahan) producers and duet of musicians that helped giving this record the best shape. Felicia has been partner and has participated with several artists, those who people call “the new […]
