This not so short but intense trip starts with the takeoff of the band in 2008. Three pilots led the spacecraft to one year after their foundation (2009) launch their first recording, a 6 track demo that contains songs of their first album. In 2011, after several journeys in the space, they came back to the hangars to make a machine with good engines, a LP that has for name “Vol.1”, a strange name for something that contain such a powerful sound. Taking advantage of the fuel, in 2012 at the gates of the end of the world (?), they make the engine works for “Caminando en la Luna”, their third record. They heated the speaker tubes and stretched the neck muscles of the crowd in the Truckfighters gig the 22 of may in 2016 in Santiago. The people thanked each roar of the loudspeakers and clapped every song. A band that respect the style, sound perfecticly solid and counts with the experience to make others to pay attention to every takeoff. Keep an ear on this spatial musicians that have plenty fuel. Uaral comes to shine a tenuous light upon the darkest places of your soul. Music very well-crafted, emotionally charged and surrounded by the mystery of the most singular band from the south central of Chile. A sensitive approach to the Chilean country field, Uaral puts together brilliantly the folkloric classic guitar with the guttural voices of doom/black metal. Because the south central of Chile is not only vivid celebrations and cuecas… it can be a cold, stark, and beautifully haunted place. With no more than two members, Aciago, (composer, multi- instrumentalist) and Caudal (voices), Uaral seeks to express their melancholy and futile existence through poetic lyrics, soothing acoustic melodies and raw laments of sorrow. A band with two long duration albums, Sounds of Pain (2005), Lamentos a Poema Muerto (2007). Uaral´s members don´t waste their resources and time seeking trivial desires. Aciago and Caudal are not looking for fame, neither playing on big venues, nor or less signing albums and t shirts, selling their music out. A reticent band, that […]
