Frenetic, electric, hyperkinetic and even magnetic. Let those riffs and drums fuck us all from the very first three seconds of a song. A dirty combination between speed and methadone, 3 am in the morning having absolutely no clue where the hell are you. A first glimpse of what ANMLS are preparing, a song so unable to conceal all his energy, releasing stage divings, crowd surfings and no fucks with every scream. And yes, we can put “Himno” as an anthem… as a battle cry or as a perfect soundtrack for those nights that happen so fast and die so young… with a smile on your face. You asked for a band that rocks the socks out of you? We are showing you one that will rocks the fucks out of you. Animals are: Gato • Pato • Chichi • Dino Facebook • Website By: Francisco Cifuentes.

DUMO

If we go to the essence of Punk music (linked to HxC) we realize that everything is hate, attitude and truth. The most sincere music directed in missile mode to the sleeping arteries of your brain. Those that makes you to question everything, want to kick and jump from a second floor to a mass of people who are in the same line as you. When you listen to a Dumo no longer matters the integrity, the volume or the consequences that you can live after the Punk experience. Sebastian and Alejandro … Yes, it’s hard to believe it’s two people’s music. They create lysergic and heavy bass, driven by a battery that is difficult to define; Without a constant rhythm and that the transport by a heavy roller coaster that transits by a strange road and coherent at the same time. Watch out for voices that seem to come from another dimension and as souls on the road, accompany you throughout your journey. Detailedly composed and well done, launched in noisy fashion and with acid touches, is the proposal called Flamingo Rose. Second album that comes to confirm an id / entity called DUMO. Durmo is: Sebastian Jana: Bass […]

Valium

There are few bands that grow old at the same time you do. Bands capable to share the same stories, friends, deceptions, parties and hangovers with you. Never realizing how much time has passed. And Valium gets that kind of distinction. Ten years of a hardcorish journey, filled with intense tracks and vivid experiences. Almost like a road trip with your friends, playing the music you like and working your ass off. A decennial that is celebrated with consistent touring, hitting the new and old tracks, and embracing all the love that hundreds or thousands young skaters and rebel yellers, are giving. And let’s face it, it´s quite a career what Valium has orchestrated. Having shared stage with sport legends like Tony Hawk, Matt Hoffman, among others, kicking asses next to NOFX in 2015 in Teatro La Cúpula, and closing a round year, playing in the Rock Out Fest with bands like Dead Kennedys, Messhugah and All Tomorrows. Isn’t lovely when a friend you met in your adolescent years is accomplishing their goals by their own struggle? Maybe we are getting a little too nostalgic, but that´s the beauty of Valium, growing old, but never growing bored. Valium is: Francisco […]

Adelaida

Valparaíso, a place for ups and downs, narrow streets, a place easy to get lost, and easy to discover. Here is where Adelaida let their sound come off, a sound that is easily complemented by the sounds of the port, bathing in the same essence that makes them so unique. Like an alter ego of his members, Adelaida has its own personality with different moods, reflected in each of his lyrics and chords. When listening their repertory, we can highlight clear influences of the purest and nineties-que grunge. Paused rhythms and solid drums assemble their way in a perpetual march into your ears. In 2015, they had the opportunity to make a record with jack Endino, Nirvana`s producer, achieving a very well made work. The final result was two highly produced tracks, tuned with the eye of the experience. Added to their previous work with Pablo Giadach in their first album, Monolito. Adelaida are: Jurel Sónico: Vocals, Guitar and Synth. Gabriel Holzapfel: Drums, tambourine and piano. Natalia Adelina: Bass and vocals. Facebook • Bandcamp By: Pablo Pérez.-

Magaly Fields

Magaly Fields is a psychedelic rock n roll that is here to blow your head off with fresh sounds and sharp guitars. When listening to Magaly Fields, a duo coming from Santiago, we can remember Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Soledad Brothers and The Oh Sees, among others. Besides, if we add to this a little and spicy street blues, we get as a result a powerful sound, raw in its moment, but never ending in saturation. The constant relationship between love and hate that borns from guitar and drums, achieves his maximum splendor on each of their songs. And this makes them one of the few bands very atractive to listen on record or live. A constant transformation that takes you in a path with very little chances to go back. A path towards nirvana that  is shared with their fans in every gig. Chromatic Days, their first album, reflects the diversity of colors and contrasts printed on their work, an style cultivated since the dawn of time to the present days. Magaly Fields are: Tomas Stewart (guitar and vocals) and Diego Cifuentes (Drums) Facebook • Bandcamp By: Pablo Pérez

Their music mixes the pure essence of ska, with sharp and distorted rock guitars, making a ska-rock style very cheerful, but bold, fast and acid when he wants to be. In the credits, they have 5 studio albums, fully self-managed materials (in content production and recording). The band has a permanent presence in the lineup of the underground scene of Valparaiso and Santiago. This year were presented abroad, thanks to the tour launch of its latest material entitled “Homónimo”. Oi! From Chile to the world. Curasbun has managed to stay on track in a path builded on broken bottles, loud voices and solid effort. What was once a pub band now has become international, having toured through all over continent, without compromising their identity and spirit. And you know what… and if you keep asking, yes…they still kick ass in pubs and bar, representing the third world Oi! Formed by Fernando “Marihuana” Sanchez in voice, Jaime Alarcón and Manuel “Misfi” Vargas on guitars, Fernando “Bermello” Valenzuela in bass and Adolfo Reyes hitting the drums. True Chileans undergrounds in times when the adjective “true” has become a very difficult one to find. We want to keep hearing good news from Curasbun, because a band with so much energy to give is storming the world’s shittiest stages, raising their fists and keeping the name of south American street punk in a very high bar. Turn the volume up and finish your drink, lads… the boys are coming! Label: Bootsboy Records Link: Facebook By: Francisco Cifuentes.

Vuelveteloca is a Chilean band formed in 2006 in Santiago, Chile. From the beginning they were characterized by their explosive live performances. The group without bass, and the rock’n roll and punk period, was reflected in their eponymous debut album (BYM Records 2009).   After the departure of Gonzalo Laguna, vocalist, and the incorporation of Francisco Santelices on bass, the band begins a new stage and their music takes a different turn. Powerful songs that rely on layers of guitars and galloping base, influenced by psycodelic and drone, are those that make up the second LP of the band, Galactic Rider, published in 2011 by BYM Records, that garnered good reviews in Chile abroad.
