LA GLORIA DE JUAN
Only a few bands can set you in a certain mood of head banging melancholy. A firm kick in the nuts with a sappy taste. All very well balanced with some J Mascis-esques voices and stoner guitars. Reminiscing not only the good, but the forgotten values of the helpless alternative nation. And that is the real triumph, the true legacy and the celebration of La gloria de Juan. Discontent guitars with raw voices. All in his debut LP, LgdJ (2016), the solist project of Yanislav Ostoic, with eclectic ballads, energetic and hard ass stoner anthems, and the power to blow your socks off in every riff. Formed by Ostoic on guitar and voices, Pancho Ladrón de Guevara on drums, Felipe Vásquez on bass and others musicians and friends collaborating to make it through. Come on and listen the interesting result of an alternative and riffted revival of the indie/garage rock, with the existencial and ironic perfomance of La gloria de Juan. A terrain that apeared on the map of Osorno in 2010. A land created an deformed from the roftop of one of his members. Tower used for refuge, inspiration and creations of the group. 6 years doesn’t look like a long path, but building an empire is not a short or simple task. They have tried several aproachs to the public these years, but in 2016 is when they achieve with BYM Records their first album, “REEL”, giving us 6 tracks, 6 differents pieces of land to wander. One of them is named Newcombe, surname of the founder of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, band that they confessed idolize. They have traveled through several realms, not without waving their flag. They release their record in the Cine Arte Alameda of Santiago; have performed in Valdivia; also in the legen (wait for it…) dary Casa de Salud in Concepción; and of course, Osorno. Kingdom Fields is a green musical land that you must go over. Pablo Águila (Drums) Luis Mancilla (Guitar) Dago Aillón (Vocals y bass) Facebook • Bandcamp By: Cristobal Padilla.

Triumvirate borned in the past millenium, around 1997 in one of the southest areas of Chile, Punta Arenas. Classmates with more than 8 records and three different bass players. Owners of a not so underground style, but a real cluster indeed, called by themselves as “Rock Patagónico”. Music that allow you to start an engine, press play and goes on a trip, or hold one cold beer, headbang and give free road to the brain connections. Authors of poetic lyrics that besides the textual meaning, hide a second or third understanding in some cases, giving free interpratation to the listeners. All that makes interesting every single hearing of the songs. The road has led the band trough Chile and beyond. Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Austria & France, have been visited counties by the group. They are musicians with proved experience, with a solid an powerful sound, having several (+18) years making the machine work with oily fluidity, good pistons in the engine and a little rust in the chassis as well as Rock & Roll has to be.
